People say that "laughter is the best medicine" and that jokes and humor play a vital role in curing different type of diseases through laughter therapy. Laughing is said to boost immunity and relieve you from physiological stress and body tension. Thus, it's fair to say, reading funny jokes can lead to a peaceful mind and a healthy heart.
Cracking jokes in some stress situations at workplace relieves one from mental pressure and work load. Using a good sense of humor makes one energetic, sharpens focus and cognitive abilities. and a good laughter really strengthens the bond between people. Your funny jokes and a sense of humor can diffuse any negative or tense situations, like fighting or quarreling, with your spouse or any arguments with your friends. Telling jokes is not having a good laugh only. Teasing and laughter also reveals a lot about your personality, your way of doing things.
Funny jokes and humor are such wonderful things, that they have become an integral part of our lives. Funny jokes behave as a key to bring smile in everyone's face and creating a jolly ambiance. Jokes have an amusing power! To make laughs and more laughs! , which reflects a sense of jolliness, happiness and enjoyment. So if Joke, have an ability to relax the whole atmosphere as such, then why is the entire world not telling more funny jokes at every opportunity.
Telling jokes or creating humor is really difficult to pull off. It is not that easy to make people laugh, as our sense of humor varies from person to person. But there are people who are naturally talented in telling jokes. Funny jokes, funny videos and great comedians depend on one thing i.e. the sense of humor of listener. Therefore, while cracking jokes, clean or dirty one must remember that everyone will not share the same sense of humor. It can make one person burst into laughter while another person to anger. Funny clean jokes are as funny as dirty jokes. But depending on joke material, people can easily be offended or embarrassed. That is why it is important to check the joke material according to the audience first. Jokes on racism, disabled people and mentally retarded people should always be strictly avoided. People cracking jokes on those kinds of people are really cruel and insensitive having no sense of humanity.
Jokes are funnier when actions or gestures are applied. Remember gesture sounds more than words. Generally, people believe that irony and sarcasm are main elements of humor. So, if one doesn't have a sarcastic sense of humor, then he shouldn't try to crack jokes. Actually the rule holds good for all kinds of jokes, if one don't find a joke interesting or funny, then shouldn't bother telling it either. The truth is that a joke seems funny, if the audience can understand it.

Scribes, Pharisees and Sadducees

In legal and religious matters
deciphering the meaning of words
can certainly prove to be a burdensome task
Yet this specialty has typically been given exalted status
and those who engage in the work have at various times
been referred to as the chosen disciples of the one true God
But with this in mind it should be acknowledged
that reading the minds and words of ordinary people
can undoubtedly be a complex endeavor
And proclaiming to read the mind of the God of heaven
would under any circumstances
be an astonishing claim
So it should not necessarily be unsettling
when lawyers and high priests begin to quibble and niggle
as they unravel the content and intent of an ancient rabbinical text
In Judea and Israel for example the elite people of the society
often engaged in such a debate when they began
to declare the true revelation of God to their ardent followers
But when interpreting the word of God let us ask ourselves
what methods of inquiry should they have been compelled to use?
In regard to this issue in the Second Temple period a serious conflict did emerge
The Pharisees claimed prophetic or Mosaic authority over the legitimacy
of their belief
as they spoke with their disciples about all matters pertaining
to the revelation of their God
In defense of their conclusions they cited oral and written arguments to defend
their formidable position
The Sadducees however a wealthy and highly educated class of people
used priestly privilege as they conveyed their message
to the devout members of their clan
But in all matters of hermeneutical dispute whether internal or external
they relied upon the supremacy of the written word
Yet this did not necessarily resolve the matter altogether
Because sophisticated people often came to the conclusion that language
is rarely an easy subject to understand
Historical and social context must be taken into consideration
And it should be understood that words and statements can be literal,
nuanced and metaphorical as they float across the sacred paper
of the holy parchment page
In some instances the words can even be non-sensical
especially if a person is confused or has a reason to take a divergent path
or evade an important matter that might not be apparent even in the bright light of day
But clearly the issue would never be taken lightly
And in this particular case a civil war almost did emerge
Yet the Pharisees relied upon whatever form of reason
that they were able to foster and employ
Eventually a formalized method of interpretation was fully developed
to provide the followers of Rabbinical Judaism with a means to integrate
the oral and written tradition that had been passed by Moses to the chosen people,
especially when segments of the Bible were unclear.

Uriel (And the Divine Light of God)

In a shattered dream world Uriel appeared
to provide comfort to the complex meditative ones
Because the human condition
can only be deeply troubling for those who choose
to open their eyes and dare to see
what may or may not continue to be there,
what may never be reproduced again,
or what might very well vanish
into the lightness of the earth's extended environment
or the veneer of its thin blue sea
To be sure justice rarely exists in the material world
and those who work towards its end
have been given the greatest gift of all
But in this regard
I am told that I among others, am far too ignorant
to understand the true nature of heaven
or the extended parameters of the sacred realm of God
And furthermore that the ways of the exalted Father could never
be fully understood by anyone,
much less someone who will one day cease to exist
a mortal man, just like me
So it would appear that the spiritual message
delivered by an archangel of God
is to walk the true path of divine humility
to remain faithful and to provide the greatest effort to endure
Because they say that hope should always remain within man's farthest reach
as absolute righteousness will be delivered in the final dark days of the world
as we know it
And that the will of God will one day surely reign
But while all of this may be quite gratifying to the human soul
As difficult as it may be for me to admit
I shutter to think of the armageddon
that they speak of
And with everything that might be considered
I suppose that I lost my faith in angels such a long time ago
Yet in all of this there is undoubtedly something very valuable to consider
Because only a megalomaniac would believe that they could change the world
Yet when I consider the fourth book of Ezra
I must think of this disturbing apocalyptic vision once again
Within the book it is said that Uriel was sent on a mission of compassion
to provide solace in the ever pervasive face of evil
and to reinforce God's message of just reward
in what would appear to be a highly imperfect universe
In the end it is said that there will be seven archangels
They are Uriel, Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Raguel, Remiel and Saraqael

5 Reasons Why Most People Stay Employed

Common it is to see everybody toil under the sun with no rest.

I have seen many who stay up early and get down late to their rest.
It is surely a routine for most people to stay on the run like a bird out her nest.
Day by day with no rest they flock to the fields with sweat on their chest.
When it is time to rest they find no time even to digest.

There is but a few reasons toil under the sun to every being.
Surely it was not of money who would keep coming to the same old job.
You come today and tomorrow you repeat the same journey to the same spot.
Why on earth do people spend all their energy toiling and spoiling their skin.
It is because money will forever be not enough to anybody.
Billionnaires and millionaires together flock to where money could be.
Yes some call it self job and yet it is still the same old system "work".
There is another group that stay working for the purpose of fulfilling the desires.
The inner man who yarns to see others rejoice and celebrate in goodness.
These wake up early and gracefully join hands with the less previleged.
To help them shine and refine their joyous moments of life.
This becomes the driving force to their energy as they plough through the dry land.
The land where the call for help is the only voice audible.
Yet another group stay up late for safety and security.
When asked the meaning of being secure they will not answer.
Job security is still on the lips of some who stay on the job they least enjoy.
Why do people labour and yet mourn by the end of day.
It is only because of the unknown monster created by those around us.
Some have already gone into the world unknown but left the false sense in us.
It may have been true of their days but not in this age
For others it is time to spare so there is nothing else to do.
If not going to work there is nothing else to keep busy so to work they go.
These they work but with no focus to their benefit other than share the moment.
Special time for them is time at work so they stay.
Why spend all you have but doing everything for nothing of value.
So to work they continue to go until they reach the end of value.
Still others stay work because they are forced by those around them,
Like it or not they have to go for them,
These are to stay at work because they do not have a choice.
Surely life at times is not to our share.
On and on they keep on the job for life.
In all this why should people spend all their time working?

 

Before the Fall of Babylon

On an extant fertile plain
between two brilliant rivers
a complex pantheon of sacred deities
did exist
But all of this was well before
the preeminent caliphate
decided to invade
At this time
during the reign of the ancient law giver,
Hammurabi,
the greatest god was Marduk,
an esteemed figure who brought order
to what might have been described
as the rabid blood sucking chaos
that has often plagued man
as the precursor to a disordered
slipshod mind
From this point onward
deep within the golden cradle
it is said that Marduk rose to the occasion
Forever merging himself with developments
in mathematics, science and astronomy
In fact the divine order of the planets
weighed heavily upon the cosmology of the people
sanctioning the authority of the sacred rites
of an ancient King
But in this regard
we may look to his predecessors
In An we find the sky god, the god of heaven
and lord of the universal constellations
For each star is a soldier
who will impose the events of nature
as they were created to unfold
In his infinite wisdom
An had the ability to impose justice
and upheld the legal code from which it came
For no man had the right
to evict his son unless their was due reason
If a son has perpetrated an evil act against his father
he must be forgiven the first time
And if a doctor operates upon a patient and the patient dies
the doctor shall be put to death
And in Enlil, the god of air
we find the loyal and faithful cohort
who was able to converse with the sky
and influence the farthest reaches of the universe
It is said that Enlil first appeared
in a consummate ceremony as the god of heaven
merged with the goddess of the earth
Yet the god of the wind proved to be much more
than just a manifestation of sexual passion and might
With astonishing fortitude
this god of nature possessed the power
of innumerable warriors
Once responsible for the origin of man
the god of weather turned his back
allowing countless people to perish in a flood
In another instance however
Enlil proved instrumental as he enlisted Ninurta,
the god of war to slay Asag,
a horrifying demon that was often accompanied
by spirited rocks that were born of his relationship
with the mountains
It is said that his ability to wreak havoc was so severe
that he was able to boil fish as they swam in the rivers

                                          THE BABY DOCTOR

A young, naive bride goes to see her gynaecologist and explains she and her husband want to start a family. ‘We’ve been trying for ages but I can’t get pregnant,’ she says.
‘I’m sure we can solve the problem,’ the doctor says. ‘Just take your clothes off and get on the examining table.’
‘But doctor,’ the woman blushes, ‘I’d really rather have my husband’s baby.’

    ‘You know that girl who lives
next door to us?’ Adam says to
his flatmate. ‘I wish she’d get her boyfriend to move in with her.’
‘Why?’ his flatmate asks.
